Grey Literature in Multicultural Women's & Gender Studies (MWGS) Research

This guide will help provide information about grey literature and resources to find grey literature that can be helpful in MWGS research.

Grey Literature

Grey literature can be beneficial when researching topics in almost every discipline, and Multicultural Women's and Gender Studies (MWGS) is no exception. Oftentimes, MWGS will have you searching for resources outside mainstream publishing avenues in order to fairly illuminate the topics covered within the discipline. Grey literature contains resources like theses, conference papers, and work produced by organizations. Grey literature covers topics both with a historical focus, as well as current thoughts and ideas that aren't part of the peer-reviewed process. This libguide will aid students in understanding what grey literature is, what types of grey literature are out there, and how and where to find grey literature resources that will support research in MWGS.
