Mr. Ryan Slattery, MSLIS

He specializes in Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. He usually works 10AM -7PM M-Th, and 8-5 Fridays.
Librarian Marilyn Goff supervises the ARC and specializes in Business/School of Management, Health Care Administration, Library Studies, Nursing, Nutrition, and is available to help faculty, staff and students. She usually works 8-5 M-F.
Charles Fischer is the Library Assistant who will help you find books and journal articles. locate the best databases for your research and projects, and to help you find all the information you need to make the best grades and get your efforts understood!
Distinguished Scholar Ms Amy Qiao, is a respected nurse from the city of Jinan, in Shumdong province in China. A managing nurse at Qiarfoshar Hospital, Amy is married and has a 7 year old son, Mike. Her special studies this year at Texas Woman's University at Houston permitted her to graciously volunteer to work in the Academic Resource Center the summer of 2017, where she helped many and is writing a paper about her experiences here.
Located at the Houston Center, 6700 Fannin, the Academic Resource Center is in room 4132, just behind the mega computer lab. We support Business, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Nutrition and Food Sciences, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, the School of Management, and other departments at the Houston campus.

Graduate Research Assistant Ms. Maryam Shakouri (NURS) works Saturdays and through the week to help extend the availability of the ARC resources to you! She can help you find research articles, scan SOM books, watch great review videos, locate your textbook and more.
