This LibGuide is for TWU faculty, staff, and students to learn more about Open Access (OA), requirements, and the benefits of open research.
Archiving your research in an Open Access repository is called "Green Open Access." If you're a TWU faculty member, you are encouraged to deposit in TWU's Institutional Repository. By depositing your research in TWU's Institutional Repository or a disciplinary Open Access repository you will make your research more discoverable and contribute to Open Access without changing your publishing practices.
While depositing your research in Open Access repositories is encouraged, not all journals have the same policies when it comes this process. It is important to be aware of the policies of the journals in which your work has been published in order to avoid copyright violations.
