Accessing / Locating Books

When you find an e-book in the TWU Libraries catalog, here is how to view it:

  1. Click the Online Access link just beneath the book title, authors, and publication date in your search results (Example in screenshot below).

  2. If you have not done so already, you may be prompted to enter your Pioneer Portal username and password.

  3. To view the full book, click one of the following (this varies):
    • PDF Full Text (in EBSCOhost)
    • Read Online (in ProQuest Ebook Central)
    • In most other databases, look for a PDF or link.

  4. Avoid fully downloading or "checking out" e-books, because this will make the book unavailable to other users. Instead, "Read Online" or view the PDF only when you need it.
