What should I include in a file naming convention?

You should include:

  • Name that accurately describes the documents and content
  • Use consistent spelling and vocabulary. 
  • Revision or version (Ex: draft, final).
  • Author identification if it is a file that multiple authors contribute to (Ex: AnnualReport_110105_Jane)
