Academic Conferences Worldwide

The Texas College English Association (TCEA) is the Texas affiliate of the national College English Association. Meeting in conjunction with the Texas-based Conference of College Teachers of English on the first weekend of March each year, TCEA organizes sessions of scholarly papers and creative writing works by and/or about Texas scholars and writers.

The Great Plains Honors Council serves collegiate honors programs in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. Must be a member of the Honors Program.

Held in partnership with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, this international conference encourages academics and scholars to meet and exchange ideas and views in a forum stimulating respectful dialogue, by bringing together university scholars working throughout Hawaii, the United States, Asia, and beyond to share ideas and research.

Some of the conferences are conventional conferences geared to faculty members and graduates but have an undergraduate research component. Others are specifically designed for undergraduate research. Collaborate, share, and build lasting connections with nurse practitioners and advanced practice nurses representing more than 140 nations. ICN’s mission is to represent nursing worldwide, advance the nursing profession, promote the wellbeing of nurses, and advocate for health in all policies.
Vanderbilt University School of Nursing is honored to host the 14th International Council of Nurses (ICN) Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse Network Conference as it returns to the United States for the first time since its inception.

The mission of the Council on Undergraduate Research is to support and promote high-quality mentored undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative inquiry.

Every spring, Sigma Tau Delta holds its annual convention, a unique event that allows hundreds of members and advisors from around the United States and beyond to gather in one locale, share experiences and expertise, be recognized for their achievements, and participate in the official proceedings of the Society. Must be a member of the National org.

The South Atlantic Modern Language Association (SAMLA) is an organization of teachers, scholars, and graduate students dedicated to the advancement of teaching and literary and linguistic scholarship in the modern languages. SAMLA membership extends throughout the southeastern United States and includes members from across the country and around the world. The South Atlantic Review, formerly the South Atlantic Bulletin, was established in 1935 as the official publication of SAMLA.

The South Central Modern Language Association officially includes the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi, but our members now range far and wide, both in the United States and abroad. Our mission is to enhance our members’ involvement in scholarship, teaching, and research in the modern languages and literatures.

Throughout its history, SWPACA has welcomed first-time and senior scholars who have presented their research on topics ranging from Adaptation to Zombies.

Since our first conference in 2015, the Stanford Research Conference has served as a forum for undergraduates to present their work, hear from distinguished leaders in research, and connect with one another to form a national research community.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to develop confidence and skills in presenting their creative arts and research to others. It is also an opportunity for students to converse with faculty and fellow students about research and creative activities.

The Southeastern Council of Latin American Studies (SECOLAS) is a non-political and non-profit association of individuals interested in Latin America established in 1953. Its objectives are the promotion of interest in Latin America, scholarly research pertaining to Latin America in all fields, and the increase of friendly contacts among the peoples of the Americas.
