Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) aims to produce better Indicators of Democracy. We are a team of over 50 social scientists on six continents. We work with more than 2,800 country experts and a truly global International Advisory Board. V-Dem is the recipient of the Lijphart/Przeworski/Verba Dataset Award 2016.
