Accessing / Locating Books

When you find an e-book in the TWU Libraries catalog, here is how to view it:

  1. Click the View It tab and then click whatever link shows up below (See screenshot below).

  2. If you have not done so already, you may be prompted to enter your Pioneer Portal username and password.

  3. To view the full book, click one of the following (this varies): 
    • ​​PDF Full Text (in EBSCOhost)
    • Read Online (in ProQuest Ebook Central)
    • In most other databases, look for a PDF or link.

  4. Avoid fully downloading or "checking out" e-books, because this will make the book unavailable to other users. Instead, "Read Online" or view the PDF only when you need it.

When you find a print book in the library catalog, (1) check whether it's available, then (2) check where it's located. If you are unfamiliar with the library, use the Location Finder / Maps link below to see where collections are located.
