Tutorials & Workshops: Library Tutorials

Library Tutorials

The library tutorials are in the process of being added to Canvas. When they are available, you will find instructions for accessing them here. In the meantime, if you need to access library tutorials, please follow the instructions for accessing them through Blackboard by selecting the "Accessing Library Tutorials in Blackboard" tab.
If you have been asked to take one of the TWU Library Tutorials for a course, they are available in Blackboard Organizations.  Tutorials will be available in Canvas for the spring 2019 semester. In the Library Tutorial Organization you will find:
  • Links to the tutorials

  • Quizzes for each tutorial

  • The ability to earn a certificate if you answer 4 out of 5 questions correctly on a quiz

  • Quizzes can be taken as many times as needed

  • Certificates will show the first date you earned a certificate (passed a quiz)

  • Use Chrome or Firefox to access the tutorials, not Internet Explorer

Please note: If you have been asked to take a tutorial again for a class, and you have taken it in a previous semester, the certificate will show the date of the first time you earned this certificate. This cannot be changed. Please see the attached instructions for how to make a PDF copy of your quiz grades that you can submit to your professor instead. If you need assistance, please let us know.

If you need any assistance or have any questions, please contact Abby Morris. For instructions on accessing the Library Tutorials Organization, see the video or PDF below.

If you would like to view the library tutorials without taking quizzes or receiving a certificate, you will find a list of the tutorials and links on Library Tutorial Links Tab in this box.

If you have been asked to take one of the library tutorials for a class, please use one of the links on the "Accessing Library Tutorials" tab. This will show you how to enroll in Blackboard Organizations. There you will find the tutorial links, tutorial quizzes, and certificates of completion. If you are interested in watching a tutorial for your own benefit, use one of the links below:
