Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The SNAP program is available across the United States, working with various State and local agencies, educators and groups to provide nutrition assistance. A program of the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service, SNAP is the largest Federal program in the fight against hunger. Here, information to determine who is eligible, how to apply and where to get assistance is found. Too, information about how stores and farmers markets can be involved, how to avoid scams, and where to find expert advice are all included.
