Librarian Marilyn Goff supervises the ARC and is available to help faculty, staff and students. She is a certified Medical Librarian and usually works 8-5 M-F.

Library Assistant II

Charles Fischer is the Library Assistant II who will help you find information, check out reserve materials, and help you find great study and reserve course materials in the ARC!

Houston ARC

Located at the Houston Center, 6700 Fannin, the Academic Resource Center is in room 4132, just behind the mega computer lab. The ARC has faculty owned books that you can check out, videos to view or check out, electric three hole punchers, electric heavy duty staplers, a paper cutter, places to study, staff to help you move ahead in your studies, and a welcoming presence for getting the information you need to succeed!

Student Assistants

We have Ms Hilary Reeves, an excellent undergraduate nursing student  as our first Student Assistant in Houston's ARC here to help you find your textbooks, items on reserve, watch videos to improve clinical skills, show you additional study materials you can check out, and more!

Our second Student Assistant position is currently vacant.

Graduate Research Assistant Ms. Maryam Shakouri (NURS) works Saturdays and through the week to help extend the availability of the ARC resources to you!   She has fantastic library research skills to help you find research articles, scan College of Business books, watch great review videos, locate your textbook and more.
